James
The man behind the business. Since starting Nomad Catering over 15 years ago, James has continued to grow and develop the business each year. His love for travel and passion for food is a match made in heaven, allowing him to create bespoke menus and bring your dream day to life.
Stacey
Stacey has been here with us since March 2018. Her love for catering began 15 years ago in her hometown of Newcastle.
Ella
Ella joined us in March 2023 and is the best of the best when it comes to planning events. Her knowledge and attention to detail allows her to work with couples, curating their dream wedding day menu.
Florian
Joining us in May 2023, Florian spends his weeks working alongside Stacey and Daan preparing all our amazing food. His love for food came from cooking with his mum and grandma back in his home country, Germany.
Daan
Since Daan joined Nomad Catering in early 2025, he has become a pivotal part of the team. His passion for cooking goes hand in hand with his love for culture and languages. His experiences include working as a private chef and in Michelin star restaurants.
Victoria
Joined the Nomad team – March 2022. Victoria’s career began in film and television working in London. She works alongside Ella and Eva to help plan your perfect wedding day or event.
Eva
Part of the Nomad team since 2018. Eva joined us permanently in September 2025, following the conclusion of her university degree. Creating unforgettable, well-organised events is at the heart of her work.
Philip
Joined the Nomad team in May 2025. Philip works tirelessly behind the scenes as well as on the job to ensure all events are stocked with the correct equipment. His love for cleaning means all crockery and cutlery is squeaky clean and shiny on your wedding day!
Steve
Since joining the team in February 2026, Steve has been developing systems to allow the business to operate smoothly and ensure all jobs have the correct equipment and information
Nomad Evolution
James Brown founded James Brown Catering in 2008 after years working in professional kitchens across Leeds and Harrogate. The business moved to a small Cookridge coffee shop in 2009 and catered its first marquee wedding. By 2012, it became a recommended supplier at East Riddlesden Hall, and in 2013 a second full‑time chef joined as demand grew. In 2015, the team catered for Maserati at the inaugural Tour de Yorkshire, serving nearly 5,000 guests. The business relocated to central Harrogate in 2016, added new team members, and rebranded as Nomad Catering in 2017. Continued growth led to a move to Follifoot Ridge in 2018, with a purpose‑built kitchen and tasting bar. In 2019, the team expanded again with a logistics manager and over 50 event staff delivering weddings and events across Yorkshire. In 2024, we relocated to Cardale Park to accommodate the continued growth of the business and the increasing number of events we deliver each year. With a team of over 150 staff and more than 200 events annually, our previous premises could no longer meet the needs of our expanding operations. The move to Cardale Park has provided us with the additional space and facilities needed to support our growing team and continue delivering exceptional events for our clients.
